How soon can I get an appointment?
Our new patient's appointments are available within 1-2 weeks depending on your schedule. Emergency appointments are seen on the same day as your call.
What type of insurance do you accept?
Our office accepts all indemnity insurance plans which allow the patient freedom of choice to select their dentist. Our staff and automated insurance system calculate your insurance payments and electronically submit your insurance form for you. The insurance company pays our office directly so you are only responsible for your insurance co-payment.
We have elected to participate with several Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) which allow patients to seek the care in or out of their insurance network. Please call us to inquire about participation in your plan. If we do not participate with your plan, it is very likely that we have evaluated that plan and determined that our participation would not allow us to maintain and provide the high level of care we are committed to. We refuse to compromise our patient's care due to an insurance company's restrictions and limitations.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, cash and checks. Financing is also available.
Does Dr. Kinsey see children?
Our office is set up to provide care to patients of all ages. We recommend children be seen as early as 24-30 months. This visit allows the Doctor, staff and child to get acquainted as well as make as assessment of the child's early development and growth patterns.
We also enjoy caring for our senior citizens and have a special courtesy fee discount which we apply to their account.
What should I expect on my first visit?
This is a very important visit for the Doctor as well as the patient. On this visit you will be greeted with a friendly smile and receive a warm welcome from one of our administrative staff. They will help you complete any necessary forms as well as a Medical/Dental history. All this information will be entered into an automated system and will be seen promptly.
Our hygienists will escort you to the treatment area and review your medical and dental history and discuss any special needs or concerns you may have. Your first exam is very detailed and important. At this time we collect all the necessary data and information required to give you an accurate assessment of your current dental health needs. After your Doctor exam he will review all collected info and develop a customized list of treatment options available to you. These treatment options will be presented and discussed in detail at a separate appointment called your "Review of Findings" appointment.
We like to perform a thorough prophylaxis (cleaning) during your first appointment. We feel that patients like to know that they've been given a good clinical exam as well as a great prophylaxis! Your next appointment will be time spent with the Doctor in private for your "Review of Findings". During this time your treatment options will be discussed and any questions you might have will be answered. At this time any insurance or finance questions you have can be addressed by our administrative staff.
